Kyle D’Auria is an artist and woodworker. He attended The University of Arizona, earning a BFA in sculpture in 2013. After graduating he moved to Portland, and began Deoria Made, a small business specializing in wooden hard-goods. In 2017 Kyle returned to the Sonoran Desert to learn about the materials and landscape native to Tucson that make it such a special place. His current work explores the boundary between fine art and craft, sometimes making utilitarian goods, other times making art objects, and often blurring the distinction between the two.
